Internet Society — Islamabad Chapter (ISOC-IBD)

Internet Society — Islamabad Chapter (ISOC-IBD) is the local chapter of the global Internet Society (ISOC), working to promote an open, secure and accessible Internet for everyone in Pakistan. We bring together professionals, students, policymakers and civil society to build digital capacity, advocate for inclusive Internet policy, and support community-led digital projects.

Our programs focus on digital inclusion, Internet governance participation, cybersecurity awareness, and capacity building. We run workshops, webinars, policy dialogues and youth engagement programs to strengthen Pakistan’s digital ecosystem.

ISOC Islamabad Chapter (ISOC-IBD) acts as a local hub for Internet Society activities in Pakistan’s capital region. Recognized in ICANN’s At-Large/ALS records, our chapter represents the interests of individual Internet users and helps connect the local community to global Internet governance processes.
